For a time like this

“For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance shall arise for the Jews from elsewhere, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows but that you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this and for this very occasion?” [Esther 4:14, AMP].

Many of us have been blessed to experience and have a relationship with Christ on a level that a lot of people don’t. We are able to understand and comprehend the Bible in such a way that our parents, friends, neighbors and loved ones don’t. But what are we doing with what we have been blessed with? Are we simply content with what we know so we keep silent about the saving knowledge and grace of Christ, while others are going to hell in thrones?

God has chosen nothing else but the name of Jesus to save men and “it pleased God God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe” [1 Corinthians 1:21,KJV]]. Remember that there is no name in heaven or earth by which men must be saved except the name of Jesus, and the gospel is the power of God unto salvation for all men [Romans 1:16].

Therefore we cannot continue to remain silent. Just take a look around you; men are looking for answers to which world leaders can no longer provide. Men are looking for solutions and it is Jesus, “But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?” [Romans 10:14, NLT].

Like Esther, we have been raised and placed in positions of influence in our families, societies, friendships, work places etc.. but what are doing with that influence? As men are perishing what are we doing about it? “And who knows but you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this and for this very occasion?” Yes, who knows if you have been raised to win all your friends, family, society and nation for Christ? Truth is you know, because we have been given the mandate to go and preach the gospel to all men so there is no ambiguity about whether or not you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this.

“That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!” [Romans 10:15, NLT]. You have been raised for a time like this; don’t let anyone despise even your youth as you go out there and preach the GOOD news of Christ. Let nothing prevent you from reaching for the souls of men and snatching them from the lake of fire. As you go out there, have the same resolve that Queen Esther has when she said Then I will GO to the king, though it is against the law; and if I perish, I perish” [Esther4:16, AMP].
